Change and uncertainty are never easy. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, our daily routines, as well as our ability to connect with friends and family, look drastically different than they did a few months ago.

As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people are coming together to help one another now more than ever.

Hence we should remember that appreciation should be practiced all year-round, and especially during times of change and uncertainty. As we face challenging times and a global pandemic, we must keep in mind the people that help us move forward. We can’t neglect to appreciate the heroes that inspire us every day.

Research says that 82 percent of workers said they wish they received more recognition for their work.

Let us take time to thank the COVID lifesavers! We should be grateful for the helpers who are keeping essential services up and running in the community. We should keep thinking about all the people who are helping us right now, from delivery drivers making sure the packages arrive, to grocery store employees who are working as fast as they can to restock shelves, to first responders and hospital workers who are helping fight COVID-19 each day.

Therefore we are forever in debt to doctors, paramedical workers, Health care workers, police officers, first responders, custodians, grocery store workers, teachers, and even parents during this pandemic, and grateful for every helper supporting them.

So let us work together to thank this community and let us be compassionate towards those around us and spread gratitude and appreciation.
