Who was the first to recognize your talent in SCIENCE?

My Parents, they believed me a lot. That is the most important thing for me. Their belief in me gave a great sprit to pursue my research.

What motivated you to select the project on environment, titled 'Banana Leaf Technology'?

My interest on environment came from two things. First, I like to solve problems & tackle the challenges which are ahead and the second is that we have only one home planet to live, that’s our Mother Earth. Plastic and Paper products pollute our environment and slowly poisons our planet. This causes many environment problems which we are trying to solve now. I initially thought to avoid these products completely. Later I found that we can’t avoid plastic and paper completely.

Tell us about the 'Banana Leaf Technology'?

Naturally, Leaves don’t stay long they usually become dry within two or three days. But, this new technology will preserve the leaves for about one year without any use of Chemicals. This technology not only preserve leaves for longer availability and it also increases the durability, Stretch ability, resistant to extreme temperatures, weight holding capacity and creates the Banana leaf more convenient to make any utilities.

This technology not only preserve leaves for longer availability and it also increases the durability, Stretch ability, resistant to extreme temperatures, weight holding capacity and creates the Banana leaf more convenient to make any utilities. From these processed leaves we can make utensil like plates and cups instead of plastic & paper plates and cups. The use of plastic products harms our environment and paper which is bio-degradable also causes deforestation. To solve these problems I made a technology to make the leaves more resistant from drying; from these leaves we can make utensil like plates, cups and bags. By implementing this technology in normal banana leaves, we can produce many utensils in large scale industrial levels. This technology uses no chemicals, so it does not harm our environment. There is no technology to preserve banana leaves for about one year with its green colour. These products are made from leaves therefore it is 100 % Eco Friendly. These products have unique & novel properties which no other can substitute. This technology helps the green revolution and green chemistry by reducing waste generation. Waste generated by these products is consumable by animals. From this technology we can reduce up to 59 % of plastic products and 18 % of paper products.

What influenced you to make “Adjustable Electricity Extension Board” which got numerous national Awards?

I usually spend my time in scientific experiments and on computers. I always required the adequate supply of plug points for my system and scientific research. I was in need of two or more power strips to power all my devices at a time. So this problem really irritated me and it cornered me to make this device. I don't want to live with problems I like to solve it.

What computer programming languages do you know? Does your school teach computer science or computer programming?

Currently, I know 9 Languages and 26 Applications. I studied these in my 6th grade.

Who is your role model?

I am my role model. Taking someone as our role model will kill the great person inside us. That why I don’t have any role models. But I like Leonardo da Vinci.

What is your ambition in life?

To be a great Inventor and Scientist especially in the field of Aerospace. When I read the Leonardo Da Vinci’s Life history in my class 2, I was really inspired by his life. I was engaged in scientific experiments before that, post reading his life history I decided not only to be a scientist but also to be an inventor to invent new things to make people life better to live on this earth. Apart from that I want to give something to my country. Now I am engaged in a project to produce electricity from atmosphere and develop a project called transmutation and WAFood.

Unlike many students who spend their time watching cartoon and playing, you are thoroughly engaged in Science. Do you ever feel you are not enjoying life?

Sometimes I feel but not always. In fact I enjoy my life very well. I always watch T.V. and listen to songs when studying, programming and researching. I watch T.V when I am tired which is my recreation. But I have no time to play. I will do whatever my brain says which makes me feel good.

What are your other interests?

I like Computer programming, Book reading, Antiques & Coin Collection, Pets Rearing. I am always very interested to do many scientific researches, to set world records. I am a freelance software developer. My hobbies are to collect rare old antiques, coins, banknotes and rear pets. I am a professional coin collector so far I have collected more than 5000 coins and 250 Banknotes. I am also a Birds tammer. I have a bit interest in games like chess and carrom from which I won many tournaments.
