Our Hiflier column will feature the success stories of students who have done extraordinarily well  in their after school activities. We will be featuring the interviews with these students.....covering their route to success and also their experiences and tips to other students.....and Oh ....these interviews have been done by  members of our team of volunteers....this column will feature the hiflier interviews for one week after which they will be moved to the 'hall of fame'!!!....

Describe your field of excellence

I am a national level painting champion.

For how many years have you been learning?

7 years.

Is there any scope for painting in India?

Yes Ofcourse.It gives you name, fame and substantial amount of popularity.

Who was the first to recognize your talent in painting?

My parents, especially my Mother.

How do you juggle your time between studies and your passion?

I finish my homework in school and after reaching home, I allot some amount of my spare time for reading and the rest of my valuable time for painting.

Who is your role model?

My master R.RAJENDRAN and the great RAJA RAVI VARMA.

What is your advice to the students?

Invest your time coupled with dedication, hardwork and interest in the pursuit of your hobby.

You’re Favorites:

Hero – Actor Suriya Food – North Indian Roti.

What is your ambition in life?

To gain reputation as an internationally famous artist. To emulate great artists like MF HHUSSAIN and RAJA RAVI VARMA.

What are the unforgettable moments in your life?

When I won in the Energy Conservation National Drawing Contest and received a cash award of Rs 75,000 from President Mrs. Pratibha Patil.

What is your greatest fear?

Fear of INSECTS.

What is your definition of happiness?

To me, happiness is the result having accomplished something and the outcome of my paintings.
